Since 2015, 1 month after graduating college from Howard University with a BBA in Marketing DEBT-FREE, founder and owner Evelyn R. Cooke decided to use her signing bonus from her first full-time job offer to award the very first scholarship award in the amount of $1000 to a young black scholar from her own high school. Since then, through partnership with Staten Island ACHIEVE Dollars for Scholars, over $25,000 in awards have been given to deserving college-bound black and Latinx students from this underserved area.
